AI Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)

Commerzbank is a leading international commercial bank with branches and offices in almost 50 countries. The company is transforming from a traditional bank to a digital enterprise, working in inter-locational and international teams using agile methodologies. The role is within the Process Platform & Automation (PPA) cluster, focusing on process automation, workflow orchestration, and intelligent automation capabilities with a strong focus on Data Science-enabled solutions and agentic workflows.

• Good knowledge of automation, AI use case assessment, and agentic workflow design
• High knowledge of business process analysis and requirements engineering
• Good knowledge of software development including Python and SQL
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, AI model integration, and automation platforms
• Basic knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• English language proficiency at B2 level

• Understand end-to-end business problems and analyze relevant data to identify high-value opportunities for Data Science, generative AI, and agentic workflows
• Assess use cases regarding business value, data availability, statistical feasibility, operational impact, implementation effort, and alignment with bank’s strategic objectives
• Design and implement AI-supported agents, data-driven automation solutions, and LLM-supported workflows using suitable software development practices
• Develop sustainable and tailored solutions combining technological innovation with business objectives
• Integrate AI models into cloud infrastructures to ensure scalability
• Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure production-oriented, maintainable solutions aligned with banking requirements
• Perform exploratory data analysis, work with generative AI and LLM-supported agents
• Perform software development using Python and SQL
• Work with automation platforms and cloud infrastructures
