Senior Product Manager

Bayer is hiring for its Digital Hub Warsaw. The company operates in the pharmaceutical and life sciences domain, focusing on research and development (R&D) in natural sciences such as biology, chemistry, and pharmacology.

• Master's degree in Natural Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, or Physics; a Ph.D. is highly desirable.
• Several years' experience as a Product Manager or Requirements Engineer in an agile environment.
• Experience in scientific or R&D domains.
• Excellent leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
• Hands-on scientific work experience and familiarity with research and development processes.
• Experience at the interface of science, engineering, and IT is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of agile and lean principles, expertise in requirements engineering and digital product design.
• Deep understanding of research workflows, scientific problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Resilience and ability to handle ambiguous situations with a multi-perspective approach.
• High motivation, commitment, and sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.

• Lead a cross-functional product team composed of IT and R&D experts (biologists, chemists, pharmacologists).
• Translate complex scientific business requirements into user journeys and technical specifications.
• Prioritize key problems and focus scope on highest-value work.
• Frame engineering work by transforming business problems into testable user hypotheses.
• Drive the design, build, and continuous delivery of digital products in Pharma R&D.
• Share insights proactively with team members and stakeholders to inform and align.

The position requires proficiency in Polish and English; German skills are advantageous. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland, with options for remote work.
