Senior Software Engineer

Accuris is an engineering intelligence company with over 60 years of history, formerly part of S&P Global's Engineering Solutions division. Their Entitlement Management System (EMS) team develops the core platform services used by all Accuris products, including authentication, authorization, user and license management, and web-based administration tools. EMS services handle around 3 million transactions per day with response times around 200 ms and run cloud-native on AWS using micro frontends aligned with microservices principles. The team operates in Gdansk, Poland, with a hybrid work model and is expanding its engineering hub there.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7+ years of software development experience, including web-based applications and cloud-native systems.
• Fullstack experience with strong backend expertise in C# and .NET Core and REST APIs.
• Experience with frontend frameworks Angular or React.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient with Git workflows.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of SQL schema design and ORMs such as Entity Framework.
• Commitment to engineering excellence, security, maintainability, and documentation.
• Very good spoken and written English skills (C1 or higher).

• Design and develop web applications based on microservices architecture using Angular, React, and .NET technologies.
• Own complex components end-to-end including requirements refinement, technical design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Contribute to architecture, framework, database, and service design decisions aligned with platform standards.
• Build and maintain automated tests, quality gates, CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support production operations through monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies with Product Owners, developers, IT, ML engineers, data analysts, and researchers.
• Mentor mid-level engineers.
