UI Designer

A senior UI Designer position in the banking industry based in Kraków, Poland, focused on digital product UI design and design systems.

• Proven portfolio demonstrating strong UI design craft for digital products with high-fidelity screens and component-based design.
• Experience with design systems and reusable components.
• Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies.
• Proficient in English for communication.
• Strong visual design skills including layout, typography, color, and hierarchy.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and iterate quickly.
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude.

UI Design & Prototyping:

• Create high-quality UI designs including layouts, components, states, and responsive behavior.
• Produce wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups and build interactive prototypes.
• Apply customer experience best practices and design frameworks.
• Maintain attention to detail in typography, spacing, color, iconography, and interaction states.
• Collaborate on the emerging design system with branding.

Design systems:

• Use and contribute to design systems and component libraries.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs and resolve UI issues.
• Collaborate with branding to ensure consistency across design systems.
• Support accessibility and inclusive design standards.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and users using JIRA and Kanban boards.
• Work with UI Lead and design team to maintain UI and UX consistency.
