Platform and Automation Engineer - Remote

• 8+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years in senior roles managing internal business systems and automation in SaaS/tech companies.
• Proficient scripting and programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, and Node.js.
• Experience operating GCP and AWS environments including VPCs, IAM roles, EC2, and S3.
• Strong experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth authentication flows, webhook-based event systems, and SaaS SDKs.
• Deep knowledge of macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Expertise in SSO, SAML, SCIM provisioning, identity lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust access models.
• Experience supporting or passing security and compliance audits such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
• Preferred experience with AI-driven automation using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), AI copilots, semantic search, and automated ticket triage.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience applying SLIs/SLOs for internal IT service reliability.

• Administer and integrate business-critical SaaS systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, Stripe, Chargebee, Atlassian, GitHub, and Notion.
• Design reliable workflows and data synchronization across multiple SaaS platforms.
• Write automation scripts and build internal CLI tools, services, event-driven automation pipelines, and ChatOps integrations using Python, Go, and similar languages.
• Build and maintain API-driven integrations for CRM automation and synchronization of customer, billing, and product data.
• Develop internal tools for IT and operations efficiency including onboarding automation, access management, data synchronization, and dashboards.
• Introduce AI-assisted and AI-driven workflows, such as AI-powered support assistants, LLM-driven knowledge retrieval, automated ticket triage, AI copilots, and operational data analysis.
• Design automated and developer-friendly internal IT workflows including onboarding/offboarding pipelines, identity and access provisioning, and self-service automation.
• Provide advanced IT support emphasizing root-cause analysis and a person-first philosophy.
• Ensure security and compliance by implementing endpoint security measures, mobile device management (JumpCloud), enterprise password management, and conducting access audits to enforce Zero Trust principles.
