Digital Commerce Solution Architecture Manager

HEINEKEN Kraków is part of HEINEKEN Global Shared Services Center, focusing on digitalizing and integrating brewery processes and embedding a data-driven culture. The team drives the future of digital commerce within the company's global commerce strategy, supporting the Route-to-Consumer ecosystem with IT solutions.

• 8+ years experience in solution architecture with at least 5 in digital commerce or related domains
• 3+ years experience in people management leading technical teams
• Proven record delivering complex multi-workstream digital commerce programs
• Experience in matrix organizations managing stakeholder relationships across functions
• Experience in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing industries including Consumer-Packaged Goods
• Knowledge of headless commerce and composable architecture approaches
• Understanding of data architecture, master data management, and customer data platforms
• Experience managing distributed or global teams
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kraków, Poland
• Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~10 solution architects supporting enterprise-wide digital commerce initiatives
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on innovation and excellence
• Manage resource allocation based on skills and program needs
• Conduct performance reviews and career development planning
• Build and maintain solution architecture standards and methodologies

Solution Architecture & Design:

• Oversee development of logical and conceptual solution designs including B2B eCommerce platforms, Sales Force Automation tooling, customer and distributor portals, customer service applications, marketing technology and brand sites, digital payments infrastructure, loyalty programs, pricing and promotions engines
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards and technology strategy
• Review and approve complex architecture proposals
• Identify opportunities for platform consolidation, reuse, and standardisation

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work with Engineering leadership to ensure solutions are feasible and align with development capacity
• Collaborate with Program/Project Management on timelines and technical dependencies
• Engage with Enterprise Architecture for alignment with broader technology roadmaps
• Facilitate architecture review boards and governance processes

Strategic Planning & Delivery:

• Contribute to the digital commerce technology strategy and multi-year roadmap
• Identify technical risks and dependencies early in delivery
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture practices and methodologies
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to digital commerce
• Balance innovation with pragmatism for deliverable solutions

This role allows applying 50% copyright tax-deductible costs for up to 50% of tasks (Koszty Uzyskania Przychodu). Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Kraków, Poland.
