Senior Devops Engineer

Our Kraków office serves as a core engineering hub focused on rapid R&D expansion.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure within high-throughput, data-heavy production environments.
• Deep architectural knowledge of AWS services including compute, networking, VPC, DNS, IAM, and scalability patterns.
• Proven production-scale Kubernetes (EKS) design, operation, and optimization experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform and coding/scripting skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, and Bash.
• Extensive experience with containerized workloads (Docker/ECS) and modern CI/CD systems implementing safe deployment strategies.
• Experience building and managing comprehensive observability stacks covering metrics, logs, traces, and SLOs.
• Pragmatic and clear communicator thriving in autonomous environments with strong technical judgment.

Nice to have:

• Led production ECS-to-Kubernetes migration.
• Familiarity with EKS ecosystem components like Karpenter, ArgoCD/Flux, KEDA, and VPC CNI.
• Real-world experience operating wide-column or analytical databases such as ScyllaDB and ClickHouse at scale.

• Lead Cloud Migrations: Architect and execute a seamless, zero-downtime migration from ECS Fargate to Kubernetes (EKS) safeguarding existing architecture.
• Modernize Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement modular IaC frameworks using Terraform and OpenTofu for reliable multi-environment deployments.
• Elevate CI/CD: Transform delivery pipelines (GitHub Actions, OIDC federation) to scale efficiently and ensure zero-risk deployments.
• Scale Big Data Infrastructure: Own performance and resilience of data layers including ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Redis, and event-driven messaging.
• Champion Observability: Establish reliability standards using telemetry tools such as OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, and Grafana.
• Optimize & Secure: Balance development velocity, zero-trust security (Tailscale), and FinOps cost-efficiency through technical trade-offs.
