Senior / Lead Cloud Security Engineer | Hungary

We're building out a cloud architecture practice in Hungary, focused on clients who are moving core infrastructure to the cloud. The role involves ensuring security is integrated into the cloud environment from the start, across multiple clouds, and well documented to pass audit reviews.

• 3-5+ years in technology consulting, cybersecurity consulting, or hands-on cloud security engineering
• Practical security experience across at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable working directly with client security and engineering teams and documenting decisions clearly
• Able to explain security risk and trade-offs to non-security stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Hungarian
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Hungary

Nice to have:

• Broader architecture exposure across integration, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise applications
• Experience with banking, financial services, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud operating models, or migration strategy
• Relevant security certifications: CCSP, CISSP, CCSK, CKS, or vendor-specific like AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• German language skills at Upper-Intermediate or higher

• Design and implement security controls across identity (IAM/PAM, federation, conditional access), data (encryption, key management, classification), and network (segmentation, secure landing zones, WAF/CASB)
• Work on workload security including container security, serverless security, and IaC scanning
• Integrate security into delivery pipelines with static & dynamic testing, container image scanning, and supply chain security
• Support detection and response architecture including SIEM/SOAR integration and cloud-native detection tooling
• Help clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27017, sector-specific rules) and maintain system security documentation
• Get up to speed on securing AI workloads and AI agents with production access
• Support multi-cloud security consistency across AWS, Azure, and GCP

EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Hungary is required.
