Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer | Hungary

We're building out a cloud architecture practice in Hungary focused on clients moving core infrastructure to the cloud in production environments. The role involves creating tested and reusable building blocks for cloud services, pipelines, and modules trusted by other teams.

• 3–5+ years in technology consulting or hands-on DevOps/platform engineering roles
• Solid experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code in production
• Comfortable working directly with client engineering teams and understanding their constraints
• Practical mindset focused on delivering working, well-tested modules
• Fluent in English and Hungarian
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Hungary

Nice to have:

• Experience with banking, financial services, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with cloud operating models or migration strategy
• Certification such as CKA/CKAD, AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps certification, or Terraform Associate
• German language skills at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

• Design and build CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale ( GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins )
• Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable, pre-approved infrastructure modules and deployment patterns ( Terraform, GitOps via ArgoCD/Flux )
• Work with containerization and orchestration ( Docker, Kubernetes — EKS/AKS/GKE, Helm )
• Set up observability including logging, metrics, tracing ( Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK, OpenTelemetry )
• Integrate security into pipelines — SAST/DAST, container scanning, supply chain checks (SBOM)
• Support internal client teams directly, enabling adoption of automated, self-service infrastructure
• Contribute to toolchain decisions and bridge gaps between development and operations workflows

EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Hungary is required.
