GCP DevSecOps Engineer

INFOPLUS TECHNOLOGIES is recruiting for a role based in Kraków, Poland, hybrid work mode (2-3 days onsite per week). The position focuses on Google Cloud Security and Compliance within Global Cloud Services, particularly for a global financial services organization.

• Experience managing a range of services in Google Cloud Platform with expertise in GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build, or Cloud Run.
• Expert level understanding of Cloud Security and Google Cloud specific best practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and techniques, specifically Terraform.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, e.g., Cloud Build, Flux CD, Helm.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Bash.
• Experience with security and compliance, including IAM, cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools, and full automation and configuration management.
• Strong change implementation skills and excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.

• Build, deploy, and manage GCP foundation platform applications using Google Cloud products (e.g., BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run) and Python.
• Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g., Terraform, Config Connector).
• Implement preventive security solutions centrally to improve overall security posture.
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services covering IAM, networking, logging, operating systems, containers.
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined Cloud Security Standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk standards (network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, resiliency).
• Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and continuous testing activities.
• Implement good change management practices as specified by central standards.
• Update support and operational documentation as required.
