Requirements Engineer

The role supports ongoing integrations with the database for a project in the insurance sector, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and fraud prevention. The team consists of 15-20 members, including developers in Germany and India, working in a hybrid model utilizing waterfall methodology and a KANBAN board in JIRA. Coordination across time zones, particularly with testing operations in India, is necessary.

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
• Hands-on approach and proactive mindset, particularly in acquiring relevant information and addressing issues.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance sector, particularly with fraud prevention and management systems.
• Experience mentoring junior Requirements Engineers.
• Familiarity with development tools such as JIRA and HP-ALM.

• Gather and structure business requirements from stakeholders, transforming them into clear working packages for developers.
• Create epics, user stories, and functional specifications to guide project development.
• Collaborate closely with business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
• Mentor and support less experienced Requirements Engineers on the team, fostering skill development.
