Model Based Software Engineer/Integrator

Development of various sensors and actuators within the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) field, including air differential pressure sensors, air flow sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and variable air valve actuators.

• Strong debugging and integration skills.
• Experience in Embedded Software Development with C/C++.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
• Knowledge of Matlab scripting, ideally OOP in Matlab.
• Experience in modeling and generating code.
• Hands-on experience with MCUs.
• Proactive approach to solving complex integration challenges.
• Code review experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience in using AI tools in daily workflow.
• Python scripting experience.

Integration and Abstraction:

• Integrate low-level drivers into higher-level abstractions within modular components in Simulink.
• Assemble multiple components into complete features for various products/applications.

Coding and Code Generation:

• Write code predominantly in Matlab (OOP principles) and Simulink.
• Use C++ code generation to enable integration with low-level drivers.

C++ Development:

• Extend and upgrade a custom C++ code generator.
• Analyze generated code and perform direct modifications in C++.

Main Tasks of the Integrator:

• Create new products and integrate previously developed features.
• Find and fix bugs/defects.
• Create releases and test functionality on hardware, including specific features, communication protocols, and product configuration.
