Mid QA Tester

Big Cheese Studio is a game development team behind the success of Cooking Simulator, a game popular with over a million players worldwide. They specialize in PC games and also develop titles for platforms like Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and VR. The company is rapidly growing and based in Łódź with a modern, eco-friendly office.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a QA Tester in the gaming industry.
• Experience testing games on PC or consoles.
• Good knowledge of bug reporting, verification, and regression testing processes.
• Practical knowledge of the Unity engine (Editor), including prefabs, components, and scenes.
• Good knowledge of Git version control system.
• Ability to create clear test documentation and scenarios.
• Analytical thinking, accuracy, and self-organization skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicative English language skills (min. B1/B2) for working with technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing games on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch.
• Familiarity with task and bug management tools such as Jira or ClickUp.
• Basic knowledge of test automation or scripting (e.g., C#, Python).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and production pipelines.
• Experience with performance or certification testing (TRC/XR/Lotcheck).

• Test new functionalities and verify build quality on PC and/or console platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and artists to identify and report bugs.
• Create, maintain, and develop test scenarios, checklists, and QA documentation.
• Reproduce, analyze, and report bugs using task management tools.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing.
• Test project within the Unity Editor and target environments.
• Use Git version control as needed for testing processes.
• Actively participate in improving quality assurance processes.
