Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Commerzbank is a leading international commercial bank with branches and offices in almost 50 countries. It is transforming from a traditional bank to a digital enterprise, working in inter-locational and international teams using agile methodologies. The role supports DocAI+, a strategic initiative to scale operational efficiency across more than 50 use cases in 2025. The Document Lifecycle cluster transforms document handling within the organization by providing reliable, compliant solutions for document generation, scanning, archiving, and digital processing, managing more than 60 applications and the related infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud applications
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Understanding of pipeline architecture

• Deploy the DocAI pipeline using X-Bank CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code standards
• Monitor application availability, performance, and processing quality to ensure stable operations
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Document IT issues and define effective workarounds
• Support configuration, testing, and release validation for document-processing workflows
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of cloud operations processes
• Coordinate deployments, changes, and service improvements across development, cloud, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain auditable operational records
• Maintain deployment, monitoring, and incident response documentation
