Geospatial Data Software Engineer (Regular/Senior)

Spyrosoft is recruiting for a Geospatial Data/Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain advanced geospatial solutions, primarily focusing on applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder. The role involves working across the ESRI ecosystem including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise and supporting clients as a geospatial consultant and software/data engineer. Projects include implementing and maintaining spatial data processing using commercial and open-source solutions.

• Experience developing and configuring applications with ArcGIS Experience Builder
• Solid understanding of spatial data models and best practices in spatial data management
• Intermediate proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and web development concepts relevant to Experience Builder
• Experience automating spatial data processing using ESRI, FME, or open-source tools
• Familiarity with cloud solutions such as Azure and AWS integrated with GIS environments
• Experience working with Jira or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with data sharing methodologies and cloud-based environments
• Knowledge of Earth Observation spatial-temporal datasets
• Experience with ESRI products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online (Field Maps, Hub, Survey123, Map Viewer, Workflow Manager), ArcGIS Notebooks, ArcGIS API for Python, and ArcPy
• Ability to manage and administer ArcGIS Online/Portal
• Willingness to work across broader ESRI ecosystem including ArcGIS Enterprise
• Experience training, fine-tuning, and using AI models for object inference from satellite, aerial, or drone imagery

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

• Design, develop and maintain applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder, including custom widgets and integrations
• Work with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise solutions and integrate Experience Builder applications with other ESRI components
• Process and manage geospatial data (including Earth Observation spatial-temporal datasets)
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines and integrate spatial data from multiple systems
• Develop automation solutions for spatial data workflows using tools like ESRI, FME, or open-source
• Build cloud-based geospatial applications for web and mobile platforms
• Support clients as a geospatial consultant across ESRI, commercial, and open-source GIS technologies
• Use tools like Jira and Azure DevOps for project management
