EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship – Junior Test Automation Engineer

EY GDS Poland offers a highly selective internship program designed for ambitious students and early-career professionals, focusing on Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and modern software delivery. Interns work on international projects for leading global organizations and receive structured learning, mentorship, and practical project experience.

• Understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test scenarios, test cases and test data preparation.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic programming experience in Java and/or Python.
• Ability to organize workload independently and communicate progress effectively.
• Good command of English (B2+), both written and spoken.
• Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with an open mindset.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with JIRA or other defect and work item tracking tools.
• Basic experience in test automation.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Participation in academic, personal or technology-related projects.
• Knowledge of German and/or French.

• Collaborate with project teams to support testing, quality assurance and implementation activities.
• Contribute to project deliverables while ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and transparent status reporting.
• Partner with developers, testers and business stakeholders to help deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
• Support the design, execution and maintenance of manual and automated test scenarios.
