Quality Assurance Engineer

Kidde Global Solutions is engaged in developing security sensors and peripheral devices across wired and wireless portfolios, focusing on professional security systems used in various environments.

• Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field
• Experience in Quality Assurance domain
• Experience with hardware, embedded, or electromechanical product QA
• Hands-on device-level testing experience in lab or field environments
• Ability to translate product and system requirements into test scenarios
• Strong attention to physical, behavioral, and usability edge cases
• Knowledge of QA processes, methods, and tools
• Analytical, data-driven testing and reporting approach
• Clear communication and documentation skills
• Good command of English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Test automation skills using Python
• ISTQB certificate
• Experience with Atlassian toolchain
• Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
• Experience in intrusion, detection, or access domains

• Validate functional behavior of security devices
• Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, and recovery scenarios
• Verify battery performance and power consumption profiles
• Perform environmental and robustness testing
• Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
• Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
• Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
