EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship - Junior Java Engineer with German

EY offers a paid, full-time, 3-month internship as part of the EY GDS Consulting Poland NextGen Talent Internship Program. The program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic Consulting environment and focuses on consulting fundamentals, AI, automation, digital transformation, and future-ready skills. Interns gain access to EY’s learning ecosystem, including digital certifications and AI-focused resources, professional development opportunities, and mentorship from experienced EY professionals. The internship includes exposure to real client projects and a hybrid working model combining office and remote work.

• Experience in Java/Guidewire development
• Understanding of JVM technologies and ecosystem such as Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, application servers, and enterprise messaging systems
• Awareness of good coding practices including Clean Code and Design Patterns
• Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills using modern digital tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with an open mindset

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Angular 5
• Working experience with Kotlin
• Proficiency in German or French language

• Collaborate with team members and develop project activities to achieve client goals
• Complete assigned tasks on time
• Provide regular status reporting to the lead
• Participate in organization-wide people initiatives
• Engage in Guidewire implementation project streams
• Work effectively with international teams and customers
