EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship - Junior Pentester

EY offers a paid, full-time, 3-month internship as part of the EY GDS Consulting Poland NextGen Talent Internship Program. The program provides a structured learning and development journey focused on consulting, AI, automation, digital transformation, and future-ready skills, with access to EY’s learning ecosystem and professional development opportunities including Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification. Interns work in a multinational environment with experienced security experts, contributing to various sectors, with opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and fast-track career advancement. The role is performed in a hybrid working model at the Katowice office and remotely.

• Knowledge of technical security issues and remediation methods
• Understanding of networking architecture, protocols, and operating systems
• Understanding of web application architecture from backend to frontend
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 security concepts
• Experience with Burp Suite and/or Kali Linux
• Strong investigative skills, attention to detail, and structured work style
• Excellent command of English (German or other European languages advantageous)
• Willingness to stay full-time after the internship

Nice to have:

• Documented participation in Bug Bounty programs or Responsible Disclosure acknowledgments
• Programming skills in Python, C++, C#, or Java

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing and security analysis on client projects and internal initiatives
• Deliver findings and provide actionable remediation recommendations
• Document work thoroughly, including evidence handling and clear communication
• Collaborate independently and within a security project team
• Participate in professional coaching and development during the internship
• Work in a hybrid model combining office and remote work
