Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Tech Lead)

Globalworth is a leading real estate player focused on Poland and Romania, the two largest markets in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Its goal is to become the first choice owner for a wide and growing community of tenants representing international organizations operating in the CEE region. The Globalworth portfolio, valued at about 3 billion euros, is managed by a team of over 200 specialists located mainly in Warsaw and Bucharest.

• Minimum 3 years in a senior IT infrastructure role including documented project or architectural responsibilities.
• Expert level Windows Server / Active Directory skills (GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI/ADCS, File/Print).
• Expert level virtualization skills: VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Failover Cluster, migrations.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery: clusters, stretch/metro clusters, replication, tested recovery plans.
• Network and firewall skills: FortiGate, VLAN, segmentation, routing, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN.
• Backup experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
• Good practices in SAN/NAS storage (iSCSI, multipathing, LUN/datastore), PowerShell, REST API, hardening, vulnerability management, monitoring (Zabbix, Wazuh, FortiAnalyzer).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID).
• Strong cybersecurity awareness and motivation to develop further, NIS2 is a top priority.
• English proficiency to work comfortably with technical documentation and vendors.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of OT environments - building ICT/OT networks, building automation systems (BMS), segmentation, OT security.
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Ansible, Terraform, DSC.
• Experience with NIS2 / KSC / ISO 27001 compliance, audits, or procedure development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure hybrid scenarios (IaaS, Entra ID, on-prem integration).
• Terminal environments - Microsoft RDS farms.
• SQL Server management including backups and permissions.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate or IT/corporate infrastructure integration.
• Certifications: VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Veeam VMCE, Microsoft (AZ-800/801, AZ-104).

• Set direction for architecture, technical standards, and infrastructure development roadmaps; select technologies and document decisions.
• Develop environment virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) and SAN/NAS storage: design, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Ensure continuity: high availability and disaster recovery across 3 locations including clusters, replication, backup (Veeam), and tested recovery plans.
• Manage network and security: FortiGate, segmentation, VPN, system hardening, monitoring, and incident response; oversee corporate and building ICT/OT networks.
• Modernize and take over ICT/OT building networks: inventory, standardization, segmentation, monitoring, and security enhancement.
• Lead NIS2/KSC compliance program: risk and vulnerability management, procedures, documentation, incident response.
• Automate repetitive tasks and deployments using PowerShell / REST API and advance Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Support the team through mentoring, configuration reviews, shared standards, and complex issue resolution (3rd line support).
• Lead end-to-end implementations from concept through launch and maintenance; collaborate with vendors and manufacturers.
