Project Manager

The Project Manager role at Avenga involves implementing the MES application (ECS) across factories worldwide. The individual will be part of a larger team of Project Managers handling similar projects. The project management follows a Gate model and requires coordination with developers, testers, configuration teams, Business Analysts, business representatives, and factory teams.

• Strong experience in IT Project Management.
• Technical background, particularly in cloud solutions (Azure), global application implementations, and application interfaces.
• Experience coordinating geographically distributed project teams and working with external vendors.
• Experience working with project teams across different countries and time zones.
• SAP experience is an advantage, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with production processes, production lines, or factory environments is an advantage.
• Willingness and availability to travel.

• Drive the MES application project from presentation through implementation, testing, deployment, and the Hypercare period after go-live.
• Work closely with vendor developers, internal testers, configuration teams, and Business Analysts.
• Maintain regular contact with business representatives and factory teams.
• Manage the project according to a Gate model.
• Continuously monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders and managers via weekly/monthly status updates and Gate meetings.
