Solution Architect - CREST New Technology - EUI Transformation

The Group Business Solutions (GBS) division delivers IT solutions for financial securities markets, focusing on reliable and sustainable applications and controlled production deployments. The company is undergoing a major transformation migrating CREST from COBOL on HPE NonStop to a Java-based platform on Linux, leveraging Event Hub technologies like Kafka and running on OpenShift.

• Proven experience in solutions architecture and systems development across all stages.
• Strong expertise in Event Hub technologies (e.g., Kafka).
• Knowledge of modern architectures such as SOA and microservices.
• Experience with platform-independent and database-independent applications.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Design and Java programming.
• Experience in database design with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with containerization and OpenShift environments.
• Experience in financial market infrastructure or regulated environments.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with messaging standards: ISO 15022, ISO 20022, JSON.

• Support and lead the design and implementation of architecture solutions for transversal programs.
• Collaborate with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to deliver solutions.
• Act as a bridge between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams to ensure standards compliance.
• Develop reusable solution patterns and contribute to architecture and software engineering practices.
• Define business capability target architectures and roadmaps focusing on EUI Transformation.
• Share best practices within communities of practice.
• Ensure IT solutions align with enterprise engineering and architecture standards.
• Guarantee end-to-end consistency across platforms and teams.

• Define infrastructure requirements and work with infrastructure teams on technical design.
