CargoWise Consultant - Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant

• Broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience.
• Experience gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data for various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in the country’s official language(s) and English at C2 proficiency.
• Willingness to travel for projects.
• 12 to 15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation consulting.
• 3 to 5 years of CargoWise implementation and consulting experience.
• Experience in one or more domains: Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Customs Brokerage, Contract Logistics, Transportation Management, Warehouse Operations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
• Experience managing global rollouts and multi-country implementations.
• Technical knowledge of CargoWise One platform, configuration, administration, EDI and API integrations, data migration, master data management, reporting, analytics, process modelling, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Understanding of cloud, integration, and enterprise architecture concepts.

Qualifications:

• CargoWise Certification(s).
• Experience with global logistics providers or 3PL/4PL organizations.
• Familiarity with SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Manhattan, Descartes, project44, GT Nexus, or other logistics platforms.
• Knowledge of customs and international trade compliance.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Consulting and business transformation:

• Lead business process assessments, operating model design, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and define future-state processes.
• Translate business requirements into CargoWise functional and solution designs.
• Advise clients on best practices across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain.
• Support process harmonization and global template rollouts.

CargoWise Solution Design & Implementation:

• Lead end-to-end CargoWise program implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Configure and support CargoWise modules like Forwarding, Customs, Warehouse, Transport, Finance, Rates and Tariffs, Tracking and Visibility, eCommerce, and Customer Portal.
• Define solution architectures and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting.

Program Delivery:

• Manage project scope, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and communication.
• Oversee functional design documents, user stories, test scenarios, and deployment plans.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare.
• Drive issue resolution across workstreams.

Stakeholder Management:

• Engage senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations and executive updates.
• Facilitate governance meetings and steering committees.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
• Contribute to consulting assets and lead capability development.
• Mentor junior consultants and assist in practice growth.
