Product Owner

Here at Uncapped, we provide no-security and no-equity investments from £10k to £2 million to founders and companies. We charge a flat fee of 6-12% on the capital provided and get repaid through a revenue share. We are a fully remote fintech company backed by top European investors including Seedcamp, Global Founders Capital, Whitestar, and Mouro Capital. We focus on replacing traditional credit scoring using diverse data sources for SME lending in North America and Europe.

• 4+ years in product with a proven track record of owning a product area end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in fintech commercial and growth or financial software building in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with writing specs and close to customers and data.
• Comfortable balancing fast-paced development with risk management and compliance.
• Effective communicator capable of aligning stakeholders and managing trade-offs.
• Thrive in high-growth, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience in lending, payments, or credit products.
• Fluency with product and analytics tools and using data including writing basic queries.
• Experience working with external partners, marketplaces, or embedded finance integrations.

• Own a product area end-to-end, managing backlog from discovery through delivery with a prioritised roadmap.
• Run discovery and define the work: talk to customers, analyze data, write specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ship consistently: manage delivery cadence, unblock engineers, review edge cases, and define MVPs.
• Drive commercial impact by connecting product outcomes to acquisition, onboarding, conversion, and unit economics.
• Work across Risk, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Operations, Legal, and external partners ensuring regulatory compliance.
