C++ Developer

OpenVPN Inc. develops secure networking solutions and distributed network virtualization software running on the Linux networking stack. The team is small and closely-knit, focusing on creating innovative and secure networking products used by millions worldwide.

• 5+ years of experience in computer networking and/or network-security industry.
• Strong expertise in C and C++ programming (C++20 and higher), with experience in networking and security applications.
• Comfortable with the CMake build system.
• Understanding of RAII and concurrency concepts such as std::memory_order.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, sockets, IP routing) and security concepts like TLS, PKI, encryption, and authentication.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with OpenVPN, OpenSSL, IPsec, Asio, Rust, AWS, and Linux kernel development.

• Develop and maintain Core programs of open source and business solutions - OpenVPN2 (C) and OpenVPN3 (C++).
• Develop and maintain the CloudConnexa cloud solution backend for network virtualization on Linux.
• Collaborate on network virtualization software running on top of the Linux networking stack.
