Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Kidde Global Solutions is a company operating in Poland, located in Gdańsk, specializing in communication-centric security solutions across wireless (RF) and addressable (RS485-based) portfolios.

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related technical field
• Strong experience in Quality Assurance domain
• Experience in wireless systems validation, bus-based systems, or hardware-related products testing focused on communication
• Experience with performance-oriented testing including latency, range, and throughput
• Practical knowledge of Sub-GHz radio systems, RF protocols, or IoT communication
• Knowledge of QA processes, methods, and tools with practical usage
• Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including usage of debugging logs, traces, serial output
• Good command of English language (writing and speech)

Nice to have:

• Test automation skills using Python
• ISTQB certificate
• Experience in Attlasian toolchain usage
• Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
• Experience in intrusion, detection, or access domain

• Validate RF-based communication including long-range, low-power alarm signaling, and high-throughput image and audio transmission
• Execute RF performance and robustness tests
• Test addressable and hybrid installations including device addressing, enrollment, and topology handling
• Test protocol behaviors such as protocol coexistence and prioritization
• Support development of automation-based test solutions and validation setups
• Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
• Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
• Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
