They have developed titles such as RoboCop: Rogue City, Terminator: Resistance, and RENNSPORT. The role is for their upcoming action-survival game for PC and consoles based on an iconic sci-fi film franchise.

Wymagania

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in Environment Art on commercial PC or console games, supported by portfolio.
  • Experience as Lead or Senior Artist including coordination, feedback, and mentoring.
  • Contributed to at least one shipped AA or AAA title.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of Unreal Engine 5.
  • Strong understanding of realistic environment creation including composition, scale, architecture, materials, color, lighting, and storytelling.
  • Knowledge of modular environment production, asset libraries, variations, and scalable open-world solutions.
  • Practical experience with UE5 tools like streaming, Data Layers, Landscape, Foliage, and Lumen.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D art software including Substance 3D Painter, ZBrush, and Blender.
  • Excellent communication skills, independence, problem-solving mindset, and decision-making confidence.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
  • Strong understanding of how environments support gameplay, atmosphere, and narrative.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with open-world, survival, action, FPP or TPP games.
  • Knowledge of procedural tools such as PCG or Houdini.

Obowiązki

  • Lead the visual development of game environments in Unreal Engine 5, including regions, biomes, locations, architecture, materials, composition, and interactive elements.
  • Manage the Environment Art team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, reviewing work, providing feedback, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with Lead Level Designer to finalize locations consistent with gameplay, navigation, and readability.
  • Plan production with the Producer, including task estimation, prioritization, and progress monitoring.
  • Work with Technical Art to select, implement, and evaluate technical solutions and develop the Environment Art pipeline.
  • Ensure assets and locations comply with performance, memory, and streaming budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments on systems such as dynamic weather, day-night cycle, destruction, and environmental interactions.
  • Identify and report technical, quality, and production risks early.
