Solution Architect

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development by creating software that enables change, faster operation, and better results. Their services include technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system architecture design and supervision
• At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring framework
• Excellent understanding of architectural patterns and integration practices
• Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation
• Practical knowledge of API Governance
• Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Event-Driven Architecture, and end-to-end observability
• Ability to create scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed architectures
• Skills in code review, mentoring, and conducting architectural workshops
• Experience in co-creating technology roadmaps and risk assessment
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 for fluent communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agentic SDLC
• Experience in multi-cloud strategies
• Experience defining technology standards within organizations

• Designing new system architecture and documenting system architecture
• Building systems from scratch in distributed microservices architectures
• Participating in feasibility studies and defining implementation assumptions for system development
• Setting system development directions, maintaining technology standards, and code quality
• Estimating effort for development and architectural tasks and resource requirements
• Assigning development tasks, supervising implementation, code review, and creating technical documentation
• Ensuring operational requirements and security of delivered solutions
• Providing development support during implementation, deployment, and stabilization
• Service delivery is hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in Warsaw office
• Project budget up to 180 PLN/h + VAT
