Senior Software Developer (Java)

Vyntra builds software to help banks and financial institutions detect fraud, prevent money laundering, and analyze transactions at scale. Their platform processes large volumes of transactional data in real time using search technology and AI. The role is part of the Financial Crime Product Development team working on an enterprise-grade backend platform used by global banks.

• Strong experience with Java in backend development
• Experience with distributed or cloud-based systems
• Good analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving
• Experience working in agile development teams
• Clear and practical communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with or interest in Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL databases
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Angular, Spark, Elasticsearch, or StarRocks

• Designing and developing backend services in Java
• Improving performance, reliability, and scalability
• Investigating production issues and delivering long-term solutions
• Working with large data volumes in distributed systems
• Collaborating closely with other engineers in your team

You will work on site in the dedicated We Work office in Warsaw 3 days per week.
