Junior Software Engineer - Notifications Platform

Allegro sp. z o.o. is building a centralized Notifications Platform capable of handling massive scale, processing every single message and alert routed through their system. The team operates in Kraków and Warsaw and focuses on a modern internal ecosystem with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. The platform consists of over 1000 microservices and supports production-used machine learning.

• Knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Foundation in microservices architecture.
• Comfortable with frontend technologies including basic React knowledge.
• English language proficiency at least at B2 level.
• Willingness to engage in discussions on software engineering best practices.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership from requirements gathering to post-deployment monitoring.

• Code in Kotlin or Java in a production environment.
• Take full end-to-end ownership of initiatives including requirements gathering, implementation, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Work with microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient systems.
• Engage in high-quality code reviews and software engineering best practices discussions.
• Ensure rock-solid, low-latency delivery of notifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
