Senior Software Engineer

Conclusive Engineering Sp. z o.o. works with global clients developing software close to hardware for systems running Linux, FreeBSD and RTOS. The team primarily uses Polish for internal communication and English for documentation and external communication.

• Proficient in C, POSIX standards, and Linux kernel internals.
• Experienced with build automation tools for embedded Linux like Buildroot, Yocto, or OpenEmbedded.
• Skilled in bare-metal and RTOS programming.
• Knowledgeable about x86 amd64 and ARM architectures internals.
• Familiar with Git, Gdb, and openocd.
• Fluent in both Polish and English languages.

Nice to have:

• Experience with C++, Rust, Go, and Python.
• Knowledge of FreeBSD kernel internals.
• Understanding of other CPU/MPU architectures such as RISC-V or PowerPC.

• Choose and work in one of three main areas: bare-metal/RTOS low-level programming, operating system adaptation to hardware, or high-level OS component programming.
• Develop bootloaders, firmware, drivers, and initialization procedures related to hardware and subsystems.
• Modify kernels, init procedures, memory management, task scheduling, and I/O for OS adaptation.
• Work with physical hardware and user interface components running on the OS.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively in Polish and English within the team and with clients.
• Participate in the recruitment and assessment process as required.
