Java/Scala with Spark

Our client is a global Agile team within Risk & Compliance Technology focusing on financial crime prevention, sanctions monitoring, surveillance, and enterprise risk management.

• Strong experience with Apache Spark.
• Hands-on development experience in Java and/or Scala.
• Experience building ETL and data processing solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.

Nice to have:

• Hadoop (YARN, HDFS).
• Spring Framework.
• Airflow.
• SQL and Elasticsearch.
• Python.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Maven and Git.

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines (ETL).
• Onboard new data sources.
• Build scalable storage solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Architects to deliver data-driven solutions.
