The role is within the Global Funds Management (GFM) Engineering team inside the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization, focusing on enterprise-scale applications in investment management.
Wymagania
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications using Java and/or Python, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Experience designing and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases
- Strong object-oriented design expertise including design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern engineering best practices
Nice to have:
- Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot
Obowiązki
- Act as a hands-on software engineer contributing to design, development, testing, and support activities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and SQL
- Build and maintain data-driven applications leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redshift databases
- Collaborate with geographically distributed, cross-functional technology and business teams
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for business-critical functions
- Ensure high-quality delivery through unit testing, automation testing, and manual test execution
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including automated CI/CD pipelines and environment setup across Development, QA, UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery
- Explore and apply AI-assisted engineering tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency
- Share knowledge with colleagues and support continuous improvement and engineering excellence
