Full stack Software Engineer

The Missions & Insights team builds intelligent, data-driven platforms transforming real-time critical communications into actionable insights for first responders and enterprise security teams. The team focuses on advanced analytics, cloud-native architectures, and intuitive user interfaces to provide life-saving operational intelligence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience across the full application stack.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

Nice to have:

• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with real-time data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka and WebSockets.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and secure coding practices.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable frontend applications and robust backend services.
• Contribute to system design and API contract definitions (RESTful/GraphQL) for seamless integration.
• Implement efficient data pipelines and optimize database queries for high-throughput, real-time data streaming.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes into intuitive, responsive, and accessible web interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code including unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline automation and monitor production system health.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional team discussions.
