Senior Network Engineer - Campus LAN (Cisco/Lancom)

The position focuses on providing technical leadership and operational management for Network Engineers specializing in the Campus LAN product area. The employment is under a long-term B2B contract within the technology industry, working remotely from Poland.

• Certification in Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent).
• Fluent English; German proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in technical leadership and team mentoring.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Lancom certification (LCSP).
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Experience with CheckMK.

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate tasks among Network Engineers in Campus LAN.
• Oversee configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst (IOS/IOS-XE).
• Act as technical lead for major incidents, including 24/7 on-call support.
• Manage Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
• Handle Event and Availability Management using CheckMK.
• Oversee Capacity, Vulnerability, and CMDB Management.
• Support compliance audits and Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR).
• Engage in network planning, design, and architecture.
• Install and configure network components.
• Optimize network performance.
• Ensure quality assurance of configurations and troubleshoot per FI-TS processes.
• Implement planned configurations based on FI-TS change process.
• Document processes following FI-TS documentation guidelines.
