CD PROJEKT RED is developing its first-ever original IP and video game codenamed Project Hadar. The role is within a team dedicated to crafting this new game, focusing on revolutionary, story-driven RPGs.
Wymagania
- At least 8 years of experience in the gaming industry, with at least 2 years in leadership.
- Experience mentoring and guiding VFX artists.
- Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
- Commitment to ownership, goal setting, knowledge exchange, and driving initiatives independently.
- Experience with real-time and baked simulation.
- Knowledge of 3D software: Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Understanding of rendering techniques, real-time shaders, and lighting.
- Understanding of performance and optimization.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Candidates must include a portfolio; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

- Recruiting, leading, mentoring, and guiding VFX artists to foster innovation and excellence.
- Developing and optimizing VFX workflows.
- Prototyping, researching, and integrating particle effects using Unreal Engine 5.
- Collaborating with teams supporting gameplay, characters, cinematics, and environments.
- Working with directors and production to craft the project vision and estimate workloads.
- Researching new workflows and pushing VFX possibilities.
- Ensuring VFX content is performant and within budget.

This position requires working in Warsaw with a hybrid working mode available. Relocation to Poland is required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
