Cryptography Architect

• 5+ years of experience in cryptography, security architecture, or related fields with a proven history of designing secure cryptographic architectures.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives and protocols including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, TLS/PKI.
• Hands-on knowledge of key management processes such as generation, rotation, escrow, destruction, and KMS/HSM integration.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST SP 800-57, FIPS 140-2/140-3, and NIST post-quantum cryptography standards.
• Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale cryptography initiatives and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate cryptography challenges into actionable solutions aligned to business and risk frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Lead research, evaluation, and implementation of next-generation cryptographic technologies and methodologies including post-quantum algorithms, modern key management, and secure protocol design.
• Perform security reviews of cryptographic implementations and designs, identifying risks such as weak algorithms and improper key handling.
• Own the strategy and architecture for key management across the organization, including KMS/HSM integration and secrets management.
• Author cryptography-related technical security standards, guardrails, and reference architectures based on industry frameworks (NIST SP 800-57, FIPS 140-3).
• Develop a comprehensive cryptography strategy aligned with organizational risk profile and business objectives.
• Oversee execution of large-scale cryptography initiatives ensuring timely and budgeted delivery.
• Foster a culture of excellence by promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentoring colleagues.
