Manager, IT Operations

Echo Base is a privately funded investment platform focused on special situations and strategic opportunities within the digital asset ecosystem. The company acquires, finances, and builds companies to unlock value by combining institutional investment discipline with crypto-native insight.

• Five or more years of relevant experience in IT operations, technical operations, cloud or infrastructure support, or internal IT ownership.
• Experience as primary technology owner in high-trust environments such as investment firms, crypto companies, fintech, startups, family offices, or professional services.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, AWS fundamentals, Cloudflare, DNS, SSL/TLS, identity and access management, endpoint management, and SaaS administration.
• Experience operating production websites including hosting, CMS or deployment workflows, release coordination, testing, and rollback.
• Strong security and access-control judgment with practical approach to least privilege, backup verification, vendor risk, and incident response.
• Sound troubleshooting judgment with clear communication and safe production change management.
• Ability to work independently with executives, employees, vendors, and specialist engineers; excellent documentation skills in professional English.
• Hands-on understanding of modern AI systems and agentic frameworks, including LLM-based workflows, tool/API integrations, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and safe production operation.
• Experience implementing and maintaining business automations or AI-enabled systems with sound judgment on security, data access, reliability, cost, and vendor risk.

Nice to have:

• Crypto, digital-asset, fintech, investment-firm, or regulated-environment experience; certifications in AWS, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, or security.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS, Git-based release workflows, lightweight front-end changes, or automation using Bash, Python, or low-code tools.

• Own the firm's technology operating model including system inventory, access standards, vendor relationships, and IT roadmap.
• Administer Google Workspace, user lifecycle, groups, access controls, endpoints, SaaS applications, and core security settings.
• Maintain AWS access, monitoring, backup checks, and routine operations.
• Administer Cloudflare DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, WAF, redirects, domain configuration, and incident troubleshooting.
• Manage day-to-day operation of internal AI tools and agentic workflows, including integrations, access controls, monitoring, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Own the corporate website end-to-end including content, configuration, CMS, front-end changes, releases, hosting, testing, change control, and rollback procedures.
• Manage domains, certificate renewals, asset records, endpoint procurement, and access inventories.
• Provide IT support for employees including devices, accounts, connectivity, and common software issues.
• Maintain access reviews, patching, backups, security hygiene, and incident procedures; escalate risks appropriately.
• Act as first technology point of contact; maintain runbooks, system maps, and decision records.
