Senior AI Software Engineer

Wavestone Poland is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to develop GenAI and Agentic AI solutions for clients from various industries. The role involves working with large language models (LLM) and other ML models, integrating them with client systems, and partnering with Data, Cloud, and Engineering teams to deliver comprehensive AI solutions. The position is based in Gliwice or Opole, Poland, and supports remote work.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience designing and developing AI solutions
• Very good knowledge of cloud AI services such as Azure (e.g., Azure Machine Learning Studio, Azure AI Foundry) and/or AWS (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock)
• Experience working with LLMs, ML models, and practical knowledge of MLOps
• Ability to design and deploy AI solutions from prototype to production
• Very good knowledge of Python and the AI/ML ecosystem
• Experience with tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and OpenAI
• Ability to work in a consulting environment and communicate fluently in English
• Independence, initiative, and responsibility for the technology area
• Readiness to work in international teams

Nice to have:

• Experience in pre-sales, discovery workshops, or design sessions
• Ability to estimate work and define scope of AI solutions
• Understanding of business and operational aspects of AI deployments (costs, scalability, security)

• Design and develop advanced AI solutions tailored to client business needs
• Work with large language models (LLM) and other ML models, integrating them into client systems
• Build end-to-end solutions from concept, PoC, MVP to production deployments
• Collaborate with Data, Cloud, and Engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Translate AI technology capabilities into business value including use cases, ROI, and benefits
• Support pre-sales activities including client meetings, co-creating solution concepts, and preparing demos, PoCs, and documentation
• Document solutions and clearly present results to clients
