Junior DevOps Engineer

At CloudFerro, we build technologies used every day by Europe’s leading scientific and space organisations, including ESA, EUMETSAT, ECMWF, Mercator Ocean International, DLR, and EGI. Working closely with the Earth Observation sector, you will directly contribute to better understanding and analysis of our planet.

• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Experience working with Linux systems.
• Interest in automation.
• Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Ansible.
• Ability to communicate comfortably in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (one day per week from office in Warsaw).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Ceph, MySQL, Grafana, Redis.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and Golang.
• Familiarity with IP networking.

• Collaborate with developers to automate software deployment processes.
• Improve and optimize CI/CD processes.
• Conduct integration tests and performance benchmarks.
• Update system documentation related to application installation and monitoring.
• Ensure proper operation and continuous development of development, testing, and production environments, including application monitoring.
• Develop standards for development teams concerning effective logging, monitoring integrations, and containerization.
