Remote Backend / Fullstack .NET Developer

JDSolutions is a remote engineering team working on an enterprise SaaS platform that combines ERP-style operational management, flexible data structures, workflow automation, and AI agent integration.

• Strong experience with C# / .NET Core, ideally .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core Web API
• Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core and MS SQL Server
• Experience designing and optimizing REST APIs, database queries, transactions, and backend architecture
• Understanding of JSON-RPC, Server-Sent Events (SSE), or similar API/streaming protocols
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests with xUnit
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments, preferably Azure
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-grade code
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team

Nice to have:

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or LLM/AI tool integrations
• Elasticsearch
• Hangfire / MediatR
• SignalR
• Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Nx
• Playwright or Cypress
• Previous experience with SaaS, ERP, workflow automation, or operational business software

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using C# / .NET 8
• Develop APIs for dynamic business objects such as forms, fields, records, and workflows
• Build and extend MCP endpoints allowing AI agents to securely query business data and execute tools
• Implement authorization, access-group filtering, field-level permissions, and sensitive-data redaction
• Optimize Entity Framework Core queries and MS SQL Server performance
• Maintain Elasticsearch indexing and search functionality
• Develop background processing and synchronization jobs using Hangfire
• Implement real-time updates and event streaming using SignalR
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Work closely with other developers on API contracts and architecture
• Occasionally support Angular frontend integration where required
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions

The position is fully remote with developers located in Europe. Central European Time zone is preferred.
