Backup Engineer

• Hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of both NDMP and DNAS backup policies including design, configuration, and support
• Experience with Dell Data Domain administration and integration with NetBackup
• Experience with backup migration activities, capacity management, and performance optimization
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer skills
• Ability to work independently in a senior technical role supporting critical migration activities

Nice to have:

• Experience with NAS migrations and storage platforms
• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Knowledge of backup governance, documentation, and operational processes

• Support the NAS solution transition from NDMP to DNAS backup policies
• Configure, troubleshoot, and manage capacity and performance of backup systems
• Document processes and transfer knowledge
• Provide dedicated support for backup migration activities to ensure timely execution

• Support infrastructure transformation projects
• Train and transfer knowledge to BAU teams
