Business & System Analyst

Promise Group is a leading Microsoft partner in the CEE region, operating since 1991 and the largest provider of Microsoft solutions in Poland since 1996. The company serves clients in finance, telecommunications, media, energy, manufacturing, trade, services, public administration, education, and healthcare sectors. It specializes in software licensing optimization, IT systems design, implementation, maintenance, and business application development.

Must-have:

• Several years of experience as a Business & System Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience on IT projects related to accounting and/or finance.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Enova or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL including writing queries for investigation and validation.
• Good understanding of database structures and data connectivity.
• Practical knowledge of UML and experience creating/interpreting UML diagrams.
• Experience defining and documenting User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Ability to analyze data from different systems, identify relationships, and understand the bigger picture.
• Effective communication with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Experience with BI projects.
• Experience defining data-related requirements and working with data integration.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from internal stakeholders including C-level management.
• Identify and translate business needs in finance, accounting, and operations into clear requirements and solutions.
• Work with data from different internal systems, analyze relationships, and draw conclusions.
• Support the development of the internal Data Warehouse by participating in requirements gathering, data analysis, and cooperating with technical teams.
• Use SQL to investigate data, validate information, and perform data analysis.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Solution Architect, Data & Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Bridge business expectations and technical implementation ensuring clear understanding.
• Support testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.
