Cloud Operations & Observability Engineer

The company is expanding its product portfolio and focusing on harmonizing, optimizing, and revolutionizing cloud infrastructure operations.

• Deep, hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise-level observability and monitoring ecosystems using Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog
• Strong expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS CloudWatch and native monitoring/governance tools
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proven experience in platform operations
• Interest or practical experience with AI/ML applied to operational data (AIOps)
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional and merged teams to drive consensus and shared vision
• Competence in communicating needs and business value to senior management
• Active AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is highly preferred

• Audit and identify synergies and gaps in telemetry infrastructure and monitoring tools across legacy and new solutions
• Design a unified, scalable roadmap for monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting
• Implement best cost practices for tool rationalization and optimal cloud expenditure
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIOps) into the monitoring roadmap to enable predictive alerting, automated incident response, and anomaly detection
• Drive migration, consolidation, and optimization of the observability toolset across the organization
• Define and evangelize Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies across operational teams
• Shadow external consultants to absorb architectural designs and take full ownership of the observability roadmap and platform governance
