Project Manager PMO with German

Avenga is establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) to support highly complex full-automation projects, providing structured support to project managers, senior managers, consultants, and sales representatives.

• Fluent written and spoken German to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to follow defined processes, checklists, and quality gates consistently and reliably.
• Strong ability to structure tasks, manage priorities, and handle multiple project activities in parallel.
• Detail-oriented approach to creating and maintaining clear, structured documents such as templates and SOPs.
• Confident use of Google Suite and project management software like Smartsheet and Airtable.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, including a basic understanding of AI tools supporting project management.
• Persistence in meeting commitments, proactive in addressing open points, effective under pressure, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to understand field teams' and customers' perspectives to connect PMO support to project needs.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with structured project management practices and certifications such as PRINCE2, CAPM, IPMA Level D, or PMI.
• Ability to analyze effort, resource, and project data to identify trends and improvements (senior level).
• Experience maintaining knowledge systems for long-term usability.

• Maintain an overview of resource allocation across the portfolio and coordinate to improve planning reliability.
• Monitor deadlines and deliverables, verify Quality Gates, and escalate delays.
• Manage project template repository ensuring only current versions are used.
• Coordinate project-related orders and delivery logistics to prevent delays.
• Prepare materials for customer meetings, record decisions, and maintain the List of Open Points.
• Collaborate with project managers to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enter effort data, and prepare weekly project status reports.

The position is 100% remote but candidates must be based in Poland due to security requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
