Python Developer (mid/senior) - freelance

Monterail is a team of developers and designers building software for clients globally with expertise in web development, product, and UX design. The company has 150+ experts delivering innovative software for fintech, proptech, wellness, and eCommerce sectors.

• Strong hands-on Python experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and practical experience with AWS or a comparable cloud
• Familiarity with Terraform is a strong plus
• Comfortable managing and enhancing complex systems
• Fluent in English and Polish

• Build, maintain, and extend Python applications on commercial projects
• Use AI to leverage and improve work
• Design and optimize databases and background processing for performance and reliability
• Work with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment practices
• Take ownership of complex systems by improving, refactoring, and maintaining them
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, testers, and clients; review code and share technical decisions

B2B contract, billed hourly. Rates: Mid up to 90 PLN/hour, Senior up to 120 PLN/hour. Final rate depends on project scope and experience.
