Senior Network Engineer - Data Center Network

Join a role supporting a critical IT infrastructure environment for the German financial services sector, focusing on data center networks.

• CCNP or CCIE Data Center, or equivalent expertise
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus
• Experience in technical leadership, coordination or mentoring
• Solid Data Center networking background
• ITIL knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with Huawei DCN, or willingness to learn quickly
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
• Knowledge of Ansible, Python, and CheckMK is a plus

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for Network Engineers
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI – APIC, EPG, Contracts
• Work with Cisco Nexus – NX-OS, vPC
• Act as Technical Lead during major incidents, including 24/7 on-call availability
• Take responsibility for Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management
• Support network planning, design, architecture and optimization
• Implement and quality-check network configurations
• Perform advanced troubleshooting following ITIL-based processes
• Maintain technical documentation and configuration records
• Support preparations for the future introduction of Huawei CloudEngine
