Frontend Engineering Manager

Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company building AI-powered, cloud-native technology for the legal industry. Their platform, RelativityOne, is used by law firms, corporations, and government agencies for litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries. The Frontend Platform team builds core UI infrastructure, design systems, reusable component libraries, and frontend enablement capabilities to support consistent and scalable user experiences across products.

• 7+ years frontend engineering experience, with 2-4 years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React; exposure to Angular or Vue.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, preprocessors (SASS/LESS), and responsive layout techniques.
• Experience architecting frontend platforms using component libraries, design systems, and Micro Frontend patterns.
• Strong understanding of state management solutions like Redux, Recoil, or Zustand, and frontend performance optimization techniques including lazy loading and code splitting.
• Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks and strategies such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright, including CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and asynchronous programming models.
• Experience building accessible user interfaces meeting WCAG and internationalization standards.
• Experience managing Agile teams focused on continuous delivery and iteration.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience delivering enterprise SaaS products on Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with backend technologies like .NET, Node.js, or Python.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment.
• Hands-on with AI-driven UI solutions (personalized interfaces, chatbots).
• Strong UX sensibility bridging design intent with implementation.
• Participation in design system governance or shared cross-team component architecture.
