Scrum Master

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Agile Project Manager in a technical environment.
• Track record delivering payment systems, payment gateways, or high-availability and high-security financial platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, tracking, reporting, and metrics.
• Good understanding of payment processes: authorisation, capture, settlement, and refunds.
• Understanding of PCI-DSS, security principles, and compliance.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native architectures including APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong problem-solving skills and structured delivery management approach.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Background in fintech, e-commerce, or other regulated industries.
• Experience working with third-party payment providers or acquirers.
• Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.

Agile Delivery:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in applying Agile principles and improving delivery flow, predictability, and collaboration.
• Identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure effective delivery.

Delivery Management:

• Own end-to-end delivery planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain delivery roadmaps, sprint plans, and release schedules.
• Identify delivery risks and coordinate mitigation.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Architecture, Security, DevOps, QA, and Compliance teams.

Backlog & Azure DevOps:

• Work closely with Product Owner to maintain a clear and prioritised backlog.
• Manage epics, features, user stories, sprint boards, dashboards, and delivery metrics in Azure DevOps.
• Monitor delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and lead time.
• Ensure work items are defined, estimated, and aligned with product roadmap.

Stakeholder Management:

• Provide delivery updates to senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Manage expectations on scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Support collaboration with external technology and payment partners.
