Senior Software Engineer

Cast AI is a company operating in the cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure domain, offering a platform that manages cloud resources and Kubernetes autoscaling to optimize costs and performance.

• Production experience with Go or strong systems programming skills in a comparable language.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including compute, networking, and storage.
• Understanding of Kubernetes internals with focus on autoscaling and networking.
• Experience driving complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning, including database performance beyond ORM.
• Operational experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong English verbal and written skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguity (startup mindset).

• Design and build distributed systems that autonomously operate Kubernetes infrastructure at scale.
• Write production Go services interacting with AWS, GCP, and Azure APIs for real-time cloud resource management.
• Own features end-to-end: from design to implementation, testing, and production rollout.
• Debug complex production issues across cloud providers, Kubernetes clusters, and distributed services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve non-standard problems.
• Work with time-series data, cloud provider APIs, and Kubernetes control plane internals.
